Mechanical Engineering, Purdue University - West Lafayette I regret to inform you that the Graduate Committee of the School of Mechanical Engineering is unable to recommend your admission to the Graduate School. Each year we receive hundred of applications for our program. Obviously, we cannot admit everyone, and our program is highly competitive. We evaluate all applications on the applicant's GPA, rank of institutions, GRE scores, TOEFL scores, recommendation letters, background and need for students in that area.
