Applied according to the procedure. Received GTA offer + Tuition waiver + 85% health insurance support.

Seems like the case across all their programs. Do they intentionally release admissions decisions later than every other university?

Current undergrad in UK. Had a phone interview today with one of the professors in the department..wish me luck!!

Submitted on Dec. 26. with 2 publications in IEEE conf. (first author).

ML/NLP focus. 1 pub on arXiv in generative modeling. More than a decade of industry experience (not in ML).

All rejections. Feeling dejected.

I applied for fall admission but was accepted for the spring. The waiting period was very frustrating. I submitted my application on 1/31. I applied to 9 other schools and was required to accept or decline all of my other offers of admission by 4/15. It wasn't until a month later that I heard from USC. There was no communication from the school during that period regarding when I could expect a decision, so I could not have even considered this offer. I was admitted to other highly ranked programs, including Berkeley and Cornell, so I would not have accepted anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My application is also under review. I think it only comes from their low-efficiency process, so I guess I will get a rejection in next week.

Joint CMU-Pitt Ph.D. Program in Computational Biology through Carnegie Mellon University. 7 months RA at CBD SCS CMU.

4.0 Computer Science GPA. No research experience. No word on M.S yet.
