Computer Science, University of Texas, Austin (UT Austin) Sorry about the post below, actually I have been told that they have narrowed it down to only 20 PhD applicants. The committee will sit to decide on only those 20 applicants!. Also those who applied for PhD or MSc will be decided there for those who gets rejected from PhD. Good Luck!

Computer Science, Texas A&M University - College Station No funding though. They said in the mail that I could "explore" opportunities with the deptt.'s profs and also at some random departmental fellowship link. Interesting.....they could've just said tht I'm NOT offered anything in so many words!

Computer Science, University Of Massachusetts, Amherst (UMass) @the UMass applicant below: Dude{/tte}...UMass CS doesn't have a MS program at all. They've only got the slightly complicated MS/PhD (fully funded, of course!) variant to offer. This is what I got to know after being accepted having app'ed to a MS-only program! n' yeah, they seem to be pretty touchy about notifying rejects.....some ppl seem to have gotten theirs only thru a call/mail to the CS deptt :)
