FINALLY received the formal notification email from the GSAS. I got the email around 7:45pm EST on 3/5 and it said there is a status update on my application and to click the link. The letter attached to my application confirmed what the dept told me a few weeks ago, waitlisted. Also, the letter asks you to submit a "GSAS Waitlist Reply Form." This was simply clicking the link to the form and indicating if you still want to be considered/on the WL or if you no longer wish to be considered.

Received email to check application portal for decision and congratulatory email from graduate enrollment team. No word on assistantship or fellowship.

As someone who works with the DCT/PIs: They've already sent out all their invites. Idk why misleading information is being posted, they are DONE extending invites. Stop calling the department and asking about invites, focus your energies elsewhere. Good luck to all

Rejected via email due to a late recommendation letter

Emailed admissions and they said invites have been sent and if I haven’t gotten one by now it probably means I won’t get one. I had a really strong research match but obviously not great scores.

Mass email from department inviting me to interview 1/31. POI: CP

PsyD “Waitlisted at MWU-Glendale” means one may be offered admission at anytime through 8/24/2020. If no offer is received by first week of school, on 8/31/20 one will receive an “end of cycle” letter (aka rejection letter).

Phone call from PI inviting me to their PsyD program interviews on 2/7 or 2/14!

Letter of rejection VIA mail post interview. Extremely terrible experience from start to finish. Program on defense talking about blog posts about people not liking their program from the moment applicants arrived for interview. Director went on a tangent about mystery funding that may be coming into the works and falsely promising free tuition "maybe in the near future"...very odd....have to have their own internship/externship as a saftey for students to apply to so their match rate isn't horrendous. Falculty was horrendous with their simulated therapy experience aka the group interview-very bizarre experience which absolutely does not test interpersonal skills organically. Some Interviewers did bizzare "stress interviews" purposely not making eye contact with applicants or making loud noises and/or asking inappropriate questions....not at all sure what they were they were trying to get at. No representation of other theoretical orientations solely psychodynamic- which is what they are known for and should NOT be faulted for however they lack even trying any sort of integration and tenure faculty are set in their ways of keeping it solely psychodynamic....grad students did not offer any insight instead said it was competitive between students and "what you make it"- nothing positive to share. Normally would not "bash" a program but many many applicants have gone through the same experience regardless of application cycle.

Offer made via phone for EH's lab. Have not officially accepted, waiting to hear back from all schools. I will post again if I reject this offer.
