Computer Science, University of Southern California I was accepted for MS in CS in January (my application was for MS). I was recently emailed and notified (by Viterbi graduate admissions) saying that I am identified as a suitable candidate as a Ph.D student for a doctoral program. I have the option to submit a 1-2 page statement outlining my research interests and experience to be considered for the doctoral program. This will not affect my MS decision as I am still guaranteed it. Did anyone receive an email or notification of this type as well?
