I'm sorry to inform you that you will not be offered admission to the Cornell University's Ph.D. program for Fall 2020. We are able to admit only about 15% of our applicant pool in the combined fields of Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering and Theoretical and Applied Mechanics.While recognizing that we must deny many qualified applicants, the faculty endeavors to choose applicants they feel are the most appropriate match for our program.
