Computer Science Graduate School Admission Results

Gave me a $10K GIA scholarship but didn't get into the PhD program. Somebody knows where I can find some legit source to fund my masters?

Anyone knows what's going on about UMN cs phd program? My application status still shows "Awaiting Decision" Should I still wait for?

TTPB: for the person waiting for Columbia, basically they keep doing rounds of admits and as a bunch of people reject the offer each round they simply move down that list and give the offer to the next people, you are most likely on that list

I am the poster who had mentioned about the letter from FGSR. I had accidentally written that I have received the letter from FGSR, but I have only received the letter from the department as of now. I apologize for posting incorrect info.

Applied on September 2nd, 2019, interviewed on March 11th, 2020, and still have not heard anything. Also, I am still able to update my application. The status says pending in the portal. Any ideas what this means?

Was rejected by the MS CS program but transferred major to Software engineering and got acceptance within a few days.

To those who got an initial update on GARS and letter from the CS Department. How long did it take to receive the offer letter from FGSR?

MCS rejected. I am okay with that cause my major is mechanical engineering without any knowledge of cs except some programming method. For people who get declined in UCI, which school you gonna go?

got an email notif... LOL, its evident now...USA is in severe economic crisis, they will not be able to afford a PhD student's fellowship. New admits will only be Master's...who will save USA by paying bags of money, helping them to come out from the crisis... :)
