Physics Graduate School Admission Results

Thats 10/14 rejections with the acceptance dates for the other 4 long gone. Guess I'm reapplying next year.

Will all the students who were not asked to send a video or were not interviewed be rejected? Does anyone have any idea about this?

TTPB: I emailed NYU last week and here is the response: "We have already made all of our first-round offers. Beginning on March 9th, we will begin contacting students on our waitlist." Hope this helps.

Good GPA, GRE General and TOEFL scores, interesting GRE Physics score. Some research experience in photonics but no pubs. Interviewed on Skype on Feb 18th and emailed the offer on Feb 27th (Tuition Waiver + TA assistantship).

TTPB: I was admitted around Feb 11th or so for qg-theory. I have no info on the "one spot" remark though

To the person below on the waitlist, how did you find out that you were on the waitlist and that the offers were already sent, was it through an email inquiry?
