Data Science Graduate School Admission Results

Finally got word in the email that decision has been made and sent to the portal.

Waited forever like everyone else. Sent an email asking what the status was and then a few days later got an acceptance letter. Undergrad GPA was not that high, but I ended with straight A's in my 3rd and 4th year. LOTS of extracurriculars and professional experience in the field. 1 published work.

Received an unofficial offer back in May and finally received the official offer today. Had some pretty solid letters of rec's from my professors. Lots of student employee experience but no prior internship or work experience.

Romanian student from University Politehnica, Timisoara. 9.36/10 ( romanian system ) . One year research assistant ( 2 subjects). One year and 7 months as a Machine Learning Researcher ( industry) . Several coding competitions and workshops. No publications. Good reference letters ( one from a former PhD student, actual professor at my uni )

Applied Jan 12, took a long time but finally accepted!

TTPB: I was about to post the same thing. June 1st passed and we have not seen anything. It is like their last time when they said the majority of decisions will be sent out in May 1st. I would not be surprised if they send another email saying that "the responses will be sent out in July 1st due to tremendous number of application we have". Just accept me or reject me but do not leave hanging not knowing what to do.

I applied for Fall 2021 but got accepted for spring 2022.

Ignore waitlist. I was wondering has anyone in this program received any decision yet? I applied a week prior to the deadline, but I'm not sure if that plays a role in admissions.

Officially waitlisted. Is there anyone here that had gotten an admit last year for Fall 2020 but reapplied for Fall 2021?

(Data Science course in Computer Science) Waitlisted a week ago. Got spring admit instead as I expected. Declined the offer immediately !rnApplied for January 15th deadline.rnInternational student, undergraduate from non US uni. GPA 4.1/4.5 GRE V153 Q165 W3.0 TOEFL 97 , no papers , no working exp, some projects including 2 capstone projects. Uploaded Personal Essay and research proposal as additional documents. Fingers crossed for others who are still on the waitlist ! Hope my quick response be helpful for you.

Anyone else who did not get waitlisted and has no decision as yet? Does this mean a straight rejection? So frustrating.

TTPB: I also submitted my application on the last day. I'm in the same boat as you. I'm still waiting for my decision, but I will contact them if I don't hear anything by mid next week.
