Accepted off wait list 04/06/2022. Informed high on waitlist, phone interview 03/08/2022.

Phone call from Interim Director Tom Franklin saying I got in from the waitlist!

Got in off the waitlist, will probably be attending!

Randomly checked the portal which simply stated that I had been denied admission.

Accepted in March but just received a fully funded offer. Happily accepted.

I received an acceptance on a waitlist for funding in early March, but finally received their funding offer (a TAship covering tuition, health insurance, and a stipend just over $5,000 per semester) yesterday afternoon. Gladly accepted, as this is my dream choice. The Northern Lights and I are about to get acquainted......

Email to check portal. Unfunded offer so turning this one down, but it's a great program so it feels nice to know they liked my writing.

Ignore interview. Has anyone heard from Rutgers University? I still haven't. I waiting to hear from both Newark and Camden. I wrote to Newark and received this reply on Mar 22nd, (though online it shows, it is not even under review} "The committee just started releasing decisions this week. Your application has been under review. You can expect a decision on or before April 20, 2022" I wrote to Camden as well but no reply.

Accepted in March, but fully funded ta position just came through

I got the call in March(around the 15-20th), but the letter arrived only a couple of days ago

Accepted off the waitlist via email and phone call. I had completely given up, so I am still in shock! Accepted the following morning. This closes out my (extremely rocky and stressful) season at 1a/6r/0p. For anyone reading this comment this spring or in years following: remember it only takes one acceptance to change the whole game!!! This was my second time applying and I am over the moon. This thing is a crapshoot and I was prepared to reapply in the fall and the fall after that. Your chances of getting in will increase with each time you apply :) good luck

Already knew this was a rejection. Timeline: on 3/5, I knew all initial offers were already out, although waitlisted students were not notified. Seems like they don't notify waitlisted people, just wait to see if their initial offers are accepted. Emailed a few days later to see if I was on the waitlist, and got some nice compliments from a faculty member on a piece but the email implied I was rejected. Portal update 4/1 with the rejection letter.

Accepted today via a nice personal email, but no funding available. Non-resident tuition runs about $7,035/semester, so that will be a tough one to accept. I guess NMU is no longer fully funded... Apparently the department didn't get the number of TA positions from the university that they were hoping for.
