Clinical Psychology Graduate School Admission Results

Attended interview weekend on 2/25; Assumed waitlist since haven't heard anything yet; Anyone get an acceptance offer yet?

e-mail told me to check the website. Obviously I knew this content; it's March 4th and I haven't heard anything from them. Am I the only one that thinks it's kind of rude to just not include the rejection note in the e-mail?

I'm super stoked about this; my first acceptance after 3 years of applying! Am so glad this is the last year I'll be obsessively checking this website. I'm waiting to hear back from one other school before totally deciding on this one.

post-interview. Not surprised; they only secured funding for 4 people (out of 12 interviewees) and the lab(s) I was applying to are already well-stocked. Wished them well; will likely see the at future conferences.

Had a prelim phone interview with POI in early Jan. A couple weeks later, phone call from POI offering on-site interview. On-site interviews were held 2/22 or 2/25. Still awaiting decision.

Sent e-mail to program associate, received response saying they could not comment on official decisions yet, but "at this point I cannot be encouraging." Damn.

My top choice, too :-( But apparently they received over 600 applications for something like 11 spots ...

Psy.D. I emailed to check my status and was told I was going to be offered admission! The official offer of admission letters will be sent by email and US mail next week.

Post interview. Luckily I had already heard off the grapevine that I didn't get in - which was fine because I have other options. But it was a crappy email sent before 8am on a Sunday morning, which I thought was particularly bad timing.

Notified to check the website. Saw it coming, hadn't been contacted for an interview.

Well, that's that.

Not a peep from the program. Randomly checked the website.

PsyD- interview on 3/11. Very exited :)

Figured as much...no interview.
