Graduate School Admission Results

I got an unofficial email with from the department that saying I would be admitted, and asking if I would be interested in funding. My research area is optics/photonics.

Had an interview yesterday, very friendly and relaxed. Mostly wanted to hear about why I like applied math specifically, more about my research, and answer questions I had about the program.

The person below me. Is this in reference to international applicants? The website says they send invited in March.

Mailed the Program coordinator, She said that all invites have been sent out, if you have not received one then your application was rejected.

Perhaps the two Star Trek references in my personal statement were a bit much

Admission offered so late and deadline to accept less than a week, very unprofessional. No funding or time extension. Surprised at the timeline as this was my safety. Will be accepting another school.

Just turned down my acceptance at U of A! This was originally my top choice, but couldn't justify the tuition price. Hope this helps someone :)

Rejected off of the waitlist. I emailed the program director and was told they'd frozen said waitlist and accepted their cohort for the year. Finally, it is finished. 3a/3r
