Computer Science Graduate School Admission Results

Previous posts are likely not spam, I received an e-mail today from the CSE department with a letter and the name the faculty member who is to be my research advisor.

[TTPB] Poster with GPA/GRE here. I also got an oral offer via phone earlier and he/she said the result should be released within this week. I received an email from the department today saying I will receive a formal notification from Rackham graduate school in the next few days. Area: Systems

Area: Security. Received email with letter.

Received an email notifying a decision has been made. The application website gave a letter of acceptance. Previously interviewed by a POI. Area: ML

[TTPB] I suspect the acceptance posts below are from one person (due to its adjacency in timestamps and lack of notes/comments). I got an oral offer (via email) earlier from a POI but I haven't received anything official yet (well, hope I didn't get screwed :O). So unless we see more applicants posting acceptances, I wouldn't read too much about the posts below. Area: NLP/ML.

Anyone received an interview from robotics?

Coming from a non-STEM background; 3 years post-Masters' academic research in STEM, a few non-first-author publications.

Admitted with five-year tuition and stipend plus startup grant, Computer Vision POI mentioned in letter. So excited aaaaaaaaaa! First decision so far!

Had an interview with a Stanford NLP professor this week

Im the one who offended the paper thin ego of the poster who wished I failed my interviews. I didn't apply to Emory University so it seems like only 1 person recently got an interview.

TTPB: Congrats on all your interviews. I'm assuming all invites have been sent already?

Also as a competitor, I would be more inclined to give you false questions to throw you off. Dont be naive...

TTBP who got accepted Accepted. Did anybody get an offer in the area of Computer Vision?

LOL. Why would anyone leak the question and help their competitor. Also don't try to sweet talk by saying you desire it. I don't need you to tell me, you don't have the credientials to tell me anything.
