an e-mail warned me to check status of your application and it says updated to pending. e-mail again says official decisions will be on the SPIRE system within 1 or 2 business days. What does it mean???? please the ones get accepted from political science or other social science reply to this, what does it mean? is it a rejection??? Was your acceptance process the same?? |

I still didn't hear anything back from Columbia, but I checked my portal and saw an MA application appeared separately, so I am pretty sure I got rejection for the PhD program. Plus, there is reliable source that no Chinese applicants made into the final list, so as a Chinese applicant, I don't have any hope at this point. |
