To the poster below, thanks! I'm still a final year undergraduate in EE. My undergraduate GPA is about 3.72/4.0 (major). My GRE is Q:800 V:480 AW:4.5, which is just fair (but I don't think GRE counts much). I have submited a paper in mid March and it is now accepted. I'd say this paper helps much in the process. In fact, I'm not admitted in the first round, it is this paper that makes the professor interested in me. We talk about my paper and his paper through phone for nearly two hours before we commit each other. By the way, I'm also admitted by CMU, but that professor's research interests don't fit mine, so it is easy for me to make the choice. |
