Graduate School Admission Results

Interviewed about a week ago. Was informally informed about my acceptance yesterday and got the official letter in the portal today.

Did anyone hear the MS&E Adcom for Fall 2021 asking for Official Transcripts? At this time last year, the emails were sent out asking for Internationals FINALIST to send official transcripts.

So thrilled! Accepted for Winter quarter start from early review. No full-time work experience, graduated this past year from a top UC after transferring from community college, slightly nontraditional background. Had several internships, VP student council, three research projects, exec at a startup for 2 years while still in school, and a lot of extracurricular leadership experience. Strong LORs, GPA and GRE just slightly below last year's admit stats. good luck to everyone waiting to hear back in march!

TPB: WL until next season? 2022 Fall?

Was told I was going to be put in the larger pool of application decisions, to be announced in March 2020. Bummer, I thought I had a really good shot for early admit. Ivy league undergrad, top tier work experience (tech/VC), have taken 4 SCPD classes with all A's, good recs, etc. Guess we will see what happens in March.

Anyone else still waiting?? I have heard absolutely nothing and I emailed them asking if they had an update... wondering if I'm rejected or waitlisted and if I should give up hope

Will decline the offer since I have decided to do a PhD directly in another school. I am a final year undergrad from a business school (accounting and business double degree), specializing in Actuarial Science. No work experience, no publication. Some research experience in risk and insurance. Strong LoRs. Hope it helps!

Posting accepted profile to help others. BS EE (3.36) from Pakistan. 1yr teaching at school. 5+yrs as startup founder. Deep interest in social entrepreneurship & policy. LORs from profs with top-tier int. research collabs & papers, but zero research experience. Near-perfect GRE.

US citizen, BS degree from LUMS (Pakistan). Received email to check status after requesting official transcript.

Thought I would get in with HCP. Isn't it supposed to be easier for HCP applicants?

via through HCP. Is it just me, or anyone else also feel HCP application is much harder than regular application ?

2-year full-time work experience in finance. High TOEFL, average GRE, below-average GPA (compared against MS&E class profile)

Any one else still waiting? I'm very confused, are we waitlisted? Did they forget? I thought that maybe I didn't get into the PhD, but I'd be considered for the master's, though they've sent out those decisions too. Should I email them?
