Computer Science Graduate School Admission Results

Just got notification from DGS. Will surely accept the offer as it was the last one on my list. $31,128.00 stipend (RA+TA)

To the USC poster below: I also applied before december deadline, and still haven't heard anything back from them regarding the scholarships. I sent them couple of emails about this but haven't heard anything back. The website says the decisions will be sent out between 31st January to 31st March, so hopefully we should hear something withing next couple of days. My youSC portal still says "pending review" for financial aid.

No Interview and just checked the website this morning and found out that the status changed into "Admit". Thesis option. Almost three years of research experience with one top journal paper. I guess two strong LoRs and one good LoR because I waive the right to access it.

Did anyone hear from upenn's ms in data science program and any idea when the decisions are likely to be out ?

To the poster below, in the official website of the program it is mentioned that results will be available within 4-6 weeks after the application deadline. The deadline was March 15th. According to this timeline, i think you can expect result from mid-April onwards. Though, someone in the forum has posted recently their results for MS-CS program.

Looking at the profiles that got rejected.. my chances of getting in were negative!! All the best to those who went in!!

Well, at least I got offers from 2 other schools. This ends the season for me. UT Austin hasn't emailed yet, but my hopes are slim. Shame though, I really wanted this program... I should start studying now instead of brooding, I need my career going in the right direction. My enemy is from within; I should strive to be a better person than yesterday.

I haven't heard back at all....game over isn't it? Will they still do acceptances?

Anyone else who hasn't received any emails and whose status still says "To Dept For Review" on the portal? I'm guessing this probably means I'm rejected or waitlisted :(

I got offer early this week and today I emailed to the office and received an automatic response as follows. Hope this helps for those who are waiting another wave of admissions. I want to meet you all at Columbia in this Fall. ------- "please note that decisions are expected to go out starting the end of March. While some decisions have been released, we expect the bulk of decisions to be rendered by April 6th."
