TTPB: Not Theory or Waitlisted but my POI mentioned earlier this week that PhD decisions for the entire program are being made until March 15th, so there is still hope for everyone!

What a kind(?) and strange rejection letter! I would feel bitter if I weren't already accepted into my top-2 preference program. Now I can move on without looking back at Cornell :)

TTPB: I submitted my application towards the end of November and got my pre-recorded interview shortly afterwards. I really don't know how I'm going to pick Columbia over Cornell though, because the gap is not negligible.
