Mechanical Engineering Graduate School Admission Results

Still waiting for UCSD. Got to UC Berkeley. The funny part is that I have my BS from UCSD. My GPA = 4.00 I asked them already and nothing. They are still working.

To the admitted guys to UT Austin: asked the graduate program coordinator to check with the admissions committee about financial assistance, because it's the end of March and I have to decide. She replied and it turns out I am not gonna be awarded any funding. so, do not wait. I don't know what's going on this year. they used to employ admitted students as TA :\

E-mail to check the application status page. CGPA at the time of applying: 7.42 on 10. Yay. :D

was rejected but my application has been transferred to other program (Master of Science in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and Management) for reviewing.

BS from Sharif University of Tech. Checked the portal like every other day. letter from UCLA graduate division. It says that funding status will be determined in the official letter from MAE department. They are just a bunch of douchebags for sending admissions so late, although I haven't accepted any other offer yet. Will decline it in favor of guys who are wait listed.

Its almost April and here I am with absolutely nothing from the department. Applied for MEng and MASC, these lot can take the absolute piss

First admission. Applied to PhD but asked to change to MS instead. No funding whatsoever, but still so happy...more than happy.

IELTS 8.0 + 1 Journal paper

To the poster below: They'll send a second batch of offers after April 15. I emailed the department because they didn't examine my application for some reason.

British Undergrad, applied for MEng extended option. Just got an email from sgs requesting me to mail in official paper transcripts. I cant take the suspense anymore :(

To the guys below: I am still waiting too. I asked a friend of mine who studies at UIUC to go the graduate office and inquire about the date they plan to send rest of the admissions. (they didn't reply to my emails) they said that they cannot set a certain deadline and that it can differ for different people. considering that it would be unlikely for us to get financial assistance from UIUC faculty by April 15th at this point, I have given up waiting for this school.

The graduate coordinator just replied to my email, saying I am admissible for MEng but needed official transcripts to verify my documents before going any further. Finally some positivity after 4 months of waiting!

It was my first option. Pretty bummed about it. They want me to apply to a different program, but that's not happening.

Second rejection. Yay.

They're too late, I've already accepted another school :)
