Political Science Graduate School Admission Results

Grad GPA 3.867; current Politics MA student also at NYU. *Cue huge sigh of relief.*

3.88 MA GPA. They sent me some recruitment emails, but they are also planning on having a very small cohort (3-4).

Submitted on 29/12, interview with potential supervisor on 26/01, status changed from "under review by department" to "awaiting approval by GAO" on 08/02, conditional offer made 13/02 via portal.

"Awaiting approval by GAO" on 08 FEB. Does this likely mean admission?

It says I have a conditional offer but the system is down until Tuesday so I can't check what they are!!

Applied 1/4, GAO on 2/10, nervously awaiting a response. Any updates from anyone awaiting GAO for MPhil in International Relations and Politics?

Hey folks waiting on GAO for POLIS MPhil. I received confirmation from Cambridge Admissions that GAO will be sending notifications in the next day or so. No word yet on Gates or funding, expecting to hear in the next weeks or so. Good luck!

Went from GAO to conditional offer today (I've already met the academic conditions, so just waiting on funding). See you on the flip side, folks.

Mediocre GRE, great letters of Rec, research experience. Email from the grad school coordinator informing me that I have been waitlisted and I will hear about final decisions shortly.

To the poster below: I also got an email inviting to apply for this college-specific scholarship. I also didn't apply to this college, and don't think the email means much in terms of admissions process.

Has anyone heard from PhD programmes at SOAS at all? I continue reaching out to the doctoral school, and they reach out to the department asking for a notification but nothing is coming through. Does anyone have an idea of what is going on?
