Even with experience at northwestern facilities within the field, they didn't even give me a chance. It's all about numbers(astronomical gre scores and gpas) at this school apparently, and not the overall students. Northwestern is just pretty NAME with an ugly face. Apparently their program isn't too strong right now anyway, so to those rejected, don't feel bad. |

I'm happy, I did not think I had a chance. I have a stellar involvement, employment, experience, and personal statement, but my GRE scores were not great. Overall GPA 3.74, upper division GPA 3.92, I am also in the undergrad program at UF. 2 waitlistings, 1 denial, and waiting to hear from 1 more school. If you are declining please do so ASAP, and congrats if you were accepted! |
