So surprised by this early notice

Undergrad from a private university in India, GPA above 9, 3 A* conference publications, 1.5 years experience as a Research Assistant, 7 months (ongoing) experience at a MNC R & D, strong LOR from a well-known prof among others! Don't know what went wrong. All the best to everyone waiting for a result!

Graduated from one of the top 4 CS programs in the US. >= 5 years of work experience as a senior software engineer at top tech companies. LOR from well-known professors. No GRE Mediocre GPA Good SOP (tricky to say how good my SOP is but friends of mine who finished their Ph.D. in the same field did proofread) 1 Research during undergrad

Email from POI to schedule a interview for after the holidays

The professor said the decision will be made by the committee in Feb. Don't know it's a good thing or a bad thing.

Generic rejection email, wasn't expecting much but even so. Decent LORs, 6 months of internship work-ex, 3 research papers and 1 patent publication. Just too competitive I guess.

Indian CS Undergrad from a private university. GPA : 9.43/10 - 3.83 is what I got when evaluating it on scholero. 3 papers in pretty good venues (one each of workshop, conference & journal) as a first author or joint first author. 6-month research internship and about 6 months of fulltime work-ex. I tried to reach out to see what the issue was, because I was under the assumption that all decisions would be out on the 14th of Jan, but I received a fairly generic response stating that they don't provide that information to applicants. Best of luck to everyone still waiting to hear back!
