Mass email, got interview but.. well, expected at this point

This year we had an unusually high number of incredibly talented applicants. Since the number of students that we can accept is quite limited, we were forced to reject many excellent students.

1 published and 2 submitted papers (international journals and conferences). Had applied in NLP/Deep learning.

To the poster below, when do you thin Princeton MSE results are coming out?

Does anybody know about the transfer of the application to a different program? For example I indicated ORIE as an alternative during my application. Or is it a double "no" :) ?

Applied by 6th January deadline, submitted questions on 25th January, no updates yet. Any hints regarding interview ?

to the poster below: you have to contact the cs department to let them know that you want them to transfer your file to the orie department. it's not automatic. hope it helps!
