Interview with POI mentioned in SOP. Mentioned that you're 99% admitted if the POI okays you after interview, and that results will come out mid-Feb.

Received an acceptance letter a couple of days after receiving unofficial admission notice from a POI. 2 first-author papers, 4 second and third author papers on a variety of different fields. All three LoR writers said that they wrote a strong letter.

Interview request from a Prof that was not selected in the checklist. 2nd interview from the same school. He mentioned that the admission review carries on 'til February and some Prof are started to review candidates in late January.

Professor contacted me to interview. It was short, and I discussed my research and interests.

POI contacted me asking to meet and chat about their research and my interests.

Interviewed last night and got an email this morning from POI for an unofficial acceptance. Area: NLP

Got an email about admit to the MCS program. Safe university but first acceptance of season so feels good!
