Speech Language Pathology Graduate School Admission Results

Accepted today via phone to the May 2021 cohort!

First acceptance! I'm so thankful and blessed. First time applying to Speech@Baylor. My application went into review 2.5 weeks ago and I'm shocked to have received a response so early. My stats are below average but I'm confident my recommendation letters and personal statement worked in my favor. Anything is possible! If you have stats similar to mine, there is hope! You can get into a master's SLP program and not have the highest grades and test scores. I accepted my offer and submitted the enrollment deposit :-)

the email was originally sent on December 16th and went into my junk folder. I just got an email from the head of the department again today! Check junk folders!!!

I was admitted for summer 2021! Super excited about this acceptance!!! not yet sure what to do with it as I don't want to give it up but I am an out of state candidate and I have to commit to Valdosta by Jan 15th. Does anyone know if I can commit while waiting for other schools' admissions and then withdraw?

Wait-listed for interview

Submitted application 12/07; email from Dr. Stillman 12/16, in galaxy portal soon after. Only 2 of my 3 LORs have been submitted so far. I had some relevant experiences (undergrad TA; independent study), but no research. I think my GRE did a lot. Best wishes to everyone this cycle!

So happy! I had the interview on 12/11 and was notified on 12/12 that I was accepted. I will be enrolling!

(Speech@NYU) My last 60 hour GPA is a 3.8, CSD GPA is a 3.9. I have experience as an SLP-A. GRE was waived

Interviewed on 11/19/2020 and received an acceptance letter via email on 12/9/2020 for Summer 2021.

Received an invitation to interview on the 18th. Very excited! This is my second time applying!

Accepted via email. Already have a Masters, lots of research and published work, very strong references. So excited.

DO NOT GO TO GRAND VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY. I am currently in their program and they are charging us money for things we aren't receiving, being extremely unprofessional and rude, and TOTALLY uncommunicative. I thought this program was the way to go, and turned down many other offers to go here, but I am regretting my decision to the fullest. Please save your money, as well as your sanity, and stay FAR FAR away from this program.
