Second year applying to schools. I was wait-listed last year to Rockhurst with a lower (287) GRE score and this year I was denied with a higher (291) GRE score. For those of you applying to schools with an average GPA and GRE I recommend applying to numerous schools. Last year I applied to only a couple in the KCMO area and this year I applied to 21 all around the country. The field is becoming highly competitive so definitely do not limit yourself. I'm super bummed that I did not even have a chance this year at Rockhurst especially since I am from Kansas City. A year of having school off is nice, but you start getting antsy around the 6 month mark to finish school. Good luck to those who are applying to graduate schools your first time and those who are like me applying again! |
