Has anyone been waitlisted without being offered an interview? Any information about when we will get an update?

Praying to get off the waitlist and into this program. Congratulations to those accepted already!

Does anybody know the stats for the accepted students? Also, do you know how many people they usually add to the waitlist?

4.0 for first 2 semesters of baccalaureate COMD courses, decent GRE scores, experience working with kids and disabled adults. Not the greatest undergrad grades. This school is my top choice and the only one I applied to this year but I won't be crushed if I don't get in. Sure wish they had yearly admission, though!!

Has anyone else who had a phone interview not receive an email about their decision? Kinda freaking out, since I thought it went well..

Bummer, was my top choice

I am still waiting to hear back from Tennessee State University. The deadline was February 1st, but they did not upload everything in the system until February 24th. Then they gave applicants a 5 day grace period until February 29th to turn in any forms that were missing. I'm pretty sure this placed them behind in making decisions. Online my application says "pending." I just want to know if I am accepted, rejected or wait listed. So nerve wrecking :( Has anyone else applied?

Bummed since my interview went very well and kept in contact with our interviewer about her hopes for me attending there... I wish they reviewed our entire applications before offering an interview instead of getting so many people's hopes up. Congrats to those accepted

To the poster who said that "Did not expect this at all especially since people with lower stats got in," schools consider the applicant's overall application not just GPA/GRE scores.

I also received an email stating my wait list ranking (#28). The woman said they don't rank the entire list just the top people . Super excited though!

To the poster below: I have not had an interview while being wait listed. I'm honestly not sure if individuals on the wait list will be interviewed.

To those rejected, where did you receive this information? My account only shows that my application is complete and I haven't received an email.

Waitlisted at NYU. The waitlist is not currently rank in order. This is my first choice. I really hope I will get a spot.
