Graduate School Admission Results

Very kind rejection letter. Those who have applied there don't panic. They send their letters through post. Since, I am an international student, I asked them to e-mail me the notification.

I emailed my POI to check on my status and she informed me that I did not make the cut

Full ride, with TAship and $12,600 stipend

Was called about two weeks ago, a professor within the lab had done some research on me and saw that I had the appropriate analytical background, and asked me to apply. I applied and within a few days got another phone call, kind of an informal interview, after which he asked me to get my recommendations and GRE scores in ASAP. Another week later he called to inform me that I have been accepted and they will be drafting the offer this week. Exciting!!! 3 years undergraduate research, one paper, 2 years field experience.

Tuition waiver, monthly stipend, and scholarship. Approx. $17,000/yr. if you don't count the tuition waiver. Yay!

I have received the official offer, but I just notified the department that I will not be accepting yet.

5th on the waitlist for funding. "We believe that there is a very good chance that a Teaching Assistantship will become available."

It looks like OU won't send out their admissions until after spring break, per the program administrator. OU is the only school I am applying to. Good luck everyone!

Accepted to the MA program with a fully funded graduated teaching fellowship including tuition waiver, health insurance and monthly stipend.

Has anyone heard from the OU mechanical engineering department?? I have to accept an offer by April 15th but I am really hoping to hear from them before then.
