Graduate School Admission Results

Well it was sudden and unexpected. Still waiting to hear from a "dream" program. Hope I can soon leave this spot for someone waiting. :)

Received a waitlist offer, accepted it. But I assume chances of actually getting accepted are pretty low at this point. An international student from Turkey. M.Sc. in Medical Physics (GPA 3.77), 7 years of working experience as a medical physicist, several publications.

CUNY is my top choice. If anyone received an offer and planning to decline, I would appreciate it if they do right away.

Waitlisted. Please, if you got an offer and not planning to attend, decline as soon as possible

Has Michigan State University made all their offers?

Just email Prof. Cohen and he will tell you everything about the status. (Extremely frustrated about the result because it seems that the "active consideration list" is truly a waitlist and I held the expectation for nearly two months !!)

Thought it would be an easier program to get into....COVID sure played a trick on many of us.

Received an email to check portal. Still waiting on two other programs (one being preferred). Will make a decision as soon as I am able to in the case of others being waitlisted

Sent them an email and they got back to me. They said they reviewed my application but haven't come to a decision yet since they have a lot of deferments from last year due to covid. They said hopefully they could get back to me in early April :/

(ignore waitlist) has anyone else not heard anything from Northwestern? I haven't had an interview, acceptance, rejection, or any communication from them.

TTPB: I'm sorry to hear about that. May I know which Research Group or Professor you mentioned in the application & candidate statement? Your reply may help me.

I received a reply from the admission committee that I'm on the waiting list. If anyone who's accepted doesn't plan on attending, kindly please decline. They're waiting to hear from the first group of accepted people before they make more offers.

For people who are waiting: I recieved the likely letter in February, contacted the department today and was told that the last offers were made on monday. Despite your strong background, we are sorry to inform you that you are not accepted.
