Anyone know how many get accepted into UTEP each year?

I got an email this afternoon that I was near the top of the waitlist here.

So happy! Definitely one of my top choices due to it's urban area and kind professors and staff. I have a couple other offers, but I am going to accept Rockhurst. Is there a facebook group? We have until April 15th to accept/reject for whoever asked.

To the post below, I called last week and was also told that I was an alternate. She told me that they would know more at the beginning of this week, so I am anxiously waiting to hear from them. The ones accepted had to let them know their decision by this past Monday, the 26th. Did they by chance tell you where you were at on the wait list?

To the poster below asking if acceptances were sent, yes. They were all sent a couple weeks ago. Unless you got an acceptance during that time or a rejection, you're on a waitlist (to my understanding of what their faculty memeber told me today).

I also got an email today saying I was towards the top of the waitlist. Do you think we will get notified before April 15th? If you are declining please so asap!!

I just accepted!!! This was my ultimate wish!!!

Is it possible for me to commit and pay my deposit to one school before April 15th and then accept a different school that I am currently on the waitlist for after the 15th? I know I would lose the money but it is possible right?

For those accepted but will be attending elsewhere, I am asking to please decline asap! Pacific University is my first choice in graduate programs, and I am currently on the Tier 1 waitlist. I am really hoping to not have to put my deposit down for a different program on April 15th and lose out on the deposit money! Thank you!!

I recently found out I stand in the middle third of their waitlist and would love to go here. If you don't accept your waitlist position, would you mind stating it on here so it is possible to get a better idea of where I stand? Thanks so much!! Sorry to be an annoyance its just that this is my dream school!
