Speech Language Pathology Graduate School Admission Results

Removed myself from the waitlist, already got into my first choice. Surprised to have heard from them so soon, considering their application didn't close until 2/15.

Received my acceptance letter today via email for the distance learning program. So excited! My top choice! I will be accepting!!!

Kind of disappointed and curious what they were looking for.. didn't even get waitlist. Thought I had good stats and good extracurriculars and essays. Congrats to everyone though!

Will take my name off the waitlist, as I have been accepted to 7 other programs.

Offered assistantship through their Diversity and Inclusion Fellows program... Bilingual, extensive and diverse SLPA experience, great LORs, submitted application in October.

To the person below, I received an email from the department head with the acceptance details! They said to be on the lookout for an email from the online portal with the status update there but nothing has shown up yet (email or in portal). Hope this is helpful

My first acceptance! Out of field applicant, 3.3 undergrad gpa, 3.9 post-bacc GPA. Lots of research experience. Waiting to hear back from other schools, but it's a relief to know I'm going somewhere!

Anyone who was accepted to the SLP program at UVA, was your decision posted in the application portal? Or did you just get an email notification?

I posted below. I received an email stating the document had my decision. When I opened it said I was rejected for the Distance Learning program.

Out-of-field applicant. No true clinical experience other than observation hours but took part in linguistic research. Submitted in mid-December. 4.0 CSD GPA and 3.97 overall GPA. Super grateful
