Graduate School Admission Results

Accepted the offer.

Ignore the waitlist. Did anyone hear from the school. I was told my application is under review back in March. I applied for CME.

astro undergraduate student, GPA 89/100, a few research projects, no publications. Anyway, I have a better place to go.

Before today I asked them my application status. They revealed nothing and said the result would be available "through April", which made me axious. My impression is that they care nothing for their applicants. Very bad experience with Columbia, letting me wonder where comes their reputation.

Got the rejection letter on 4/15...I already committed to UIUC and I am not expecting acceptance from them. But I don't understand why it took them so long to make decisions.

also have heard nothing from them. I plan on emailing them and trying to get a refund of my application fee because this is ridiculous

Was accepted off waitlist. Hep-ex. I am so excited this was my last chance and it came down to the wire on getting the decision! Will attend!

Well, that's it. Received a total of 14 out 14 rejections. Yes, that's what happened. Had a single backup, which did not work, because Covid. So, I guess FML.

So it's grad day and it looks like no one's heard anything from Columbia...? Can anyone confirm being accepted or rejected...?
