Hey I am Prathamesh and currently I'm pursuing my Masters in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (Fall 22) It has been a little over a year since I began the application process, and as I remember it to be, it was constantly one task after another. Being an international student there were a lot of variables at play and tackling all of them can become intimidating. To provide more clarity, I've attempted to write a rather detailed, end-to-end article around the whole process. It's something I was looking for last year, for myself, but couldn't find. I was accepted by the CS department for Spring 2023 but they said their Boston campus was full; They gave me the option of choosing a different NEU campus; Been working for the past 2 years (past 1 year as NLP Engineer); Graduated in Aug 2021 from Tier-3 Private Indian University

I had some hope for this one esp. after the rejection from U of Alberta early this year. Anyways, it is what it is! I just wish they would have let me know sooner.

Got accepted for Spring'23. Had an interview in June. Have two workshop papers, in NeurIPS'21 and ICLR'22 workshops respectively.
