Speech Language Pathology Graduate School Admission Results

Got an email stating that I've made it to the second phase of the application process and that I interview next week!!! Good luck everyone!

To the previous poster. I received this by email in mid December after I submitted my app "1. Supplemental Materials: you do not need to submit anything to PSU or or our department unless you are accepted, waitlisted or are an international student. You will be notified probably no later than the 4th week in March with the department decisions. If at that time you have been admitted or are waitlisted, you should then apply to Portland State Admissions as soon as possible. " and I received an email in mid January "Your application is in "mailed" "status which now allows you to perform an academic update"

Happy it's not a rejection, but looks like a long wait list.

My 2nd acceptance : ) 3.97 overall GPA. 156 Verbal 150 Quant. 4.5 Writing BS in Speech Pathology from Sac State I work as an SLPA in a school district.

I was getting worried that they forgot about me, since my interview was about a month ago. Happy to have gotten an e-mail from them today, though!

Ummm...no one else had heard from Willy P? I dislike the late decision idea, mainly because it seems like a game. "Yeah...let's make them hold out and reject them after they've declined elsewhere!" Well, I accepted at Monmouth, but still. LOL well-played Willy P. Well-played.

For those who interviewed, how long does the entire interview take?

Really really excited about this school so please let them know if you aren't attending! I would love to go here!

WRGP. Currently in a 1 year post-bacc, but did an in-field minor during my BA. Some research, volunteer, and leadership experience.

Has anyone else applied and not heard anything back yet? To those who got interviews, about when did you submit your application?

For those of you who interviewed with WSU, when did they say we would hear back?

I finally decided to call the graduate school (again). I was given the runaround. I've been communicating with a poster on the form and in previous years, accepted applicants were notified via phone call followed by letter in the mail. The lady I spoke with told me she couldn't tell me my admission status over the phone because it was against their policy and I should receive a letter soon. I asked if the cohort was full she said, "no, I'm not saying that." I asked why another applicant had been called and she said, "I can't vouch for that applicant." I'm so irritated right now I guess I will just have to continue to wait to receive a random phone call or letter in the mail.

Accepted via Email for Fall 2016 Masters SLP at the Fort Myers Campus. Orientation in August at the Fort Lauderdale Campus. To the poster below, did you find a Facebook group?!
