No GRE submitted. Received an email to register UIN 2 days ago. Got an acceptance email after inquiry. (This is actually my third time applying to US schools, got all rejected for my last two tries. Just wanna say don't give up to all the Hep-th applicants who got rejected )

emailed PI, replied "The admissions committee informed us that they have made an initial set of offers. I know that they have also made an initial set of rejections, so if you haven't heard anything from them, you're somewhere on the wait list. Unfortunately, we may not know whether we can make any more offers until people start turning down their current offers, which is usually not until April. " field - astro if anybody has better offers or is not planning to attend rutgers, pls let them know, this is my only hope now after being rejected from everywhere else. QD

I am on the waitlist after the interview in early Feb. Astrophysics. 2 years of research exp. No pubs but 2nd author paper was submitted.

Email to check the app portal. Applied hep-ex/hep-th. Astro publication, second author. 1 summer + 2 semesters of astro research, 1 summer + 2 semesters of hep-ex research. REU in hep-th (phenomenology) and two semesters hep-ex research in the SULI program (full-time) after graduation. Admitted to their master's program last year, but couldn't afford it. Glad to have been accepted this time around. Best of luck to all the applicants!
