Speech Language Pathology Graduate School Admission Results

I was denied admission because I was missing 2 prereqs & it was not an option to take them this summer or concurrently. It's okay because this school was not a top choice. Congrats everyone!

Has anyone reached out to UT and asked when we will find out?

A little surprised.. this was my safety school. Strong LoR's, strong personal statement, experience in 2 different research labs involving language and development in children and adults with aphasia. Different leadership positions throughout college, club involvement, and volunteering in relevant fields. Kinda bummed but still hopeful! Please let the school know if you are not planning on attending so those on the alternate list can have a chance.

Has anyone still not heard from Vanderbilt? I haven't gotten an email and my portal has not been updated.

Distance program, current SLPA with many years of experience, I will be keeping my waitlist spot, as this school is my top choice!

My first acceptance and TOP choice!!!!!! I am over the moon excited, to whoever is reading this and hasn't heard back or has been rejected. Please don't lose hope and never quit yourself! This was my 3rd year applying, and it finally happened. Regardless of not having an impressive GPA or GRE scores, I focused on having strong LOR, 4 years of experience as a bilingual SLPA, and plenty of experience working with children. Congrats to everyone who has been accepted this year and good luck to those still waiting to hear back!
