Geography Graduate School Admission Results

No word yet. The admissions committee met on the 29th and will not meet again until April 12th. We are cutting it real close here. They have already extended offers to the most attractive candidates and are keeping the rest of us in limbo so they can reallocate rejected offers. It's a great system for ensuring the top candidates but it leaves people like us in hot water if we are trying to juggle multiple offers and make substantial life decisions.

The result was way overdue, I already said yes to another program.

For geography folks. If you apply for this program you should be lucky (and competitive also) to get accepted in the first round (with funding). Otherwise, there is no chance to get support (like me :\ ) Surely, it was my dream school with a lovely advisor, but ... Also, try to be early in a process, since the secretary of the program, Ms. Wi**** she is not really reliable. Be sure to send and complete all the steps before the deadline ....Seems that I need to take another master! Being in academia is tough folks!
