Italian university 29.75/30 GPA

BSc in maths for AI from a top uni in Italy (not so regarded in maths though), I had to put in some extra work to meet the requirements (I took extra math courses, both in Italy and during an exchange semester). Decent SoP, good LoRs. Experience in maths olympiads and recipient of a scholarship dedicated to undergrad math students.

Applied for the ESOP also but haven't heard word on it. TBH, if I get the ESOP I will probably just go here because I'm not that excited about my PhD acceptances.

2 years work experience as SWE, CS and MIS bachelors, no publications.

i dont know if I can afford it. Please share any advice that you may have for me. I am an indian if that helps :(

From an Italian university, not particularly high ranked as far as I know. Average Italian grade of 29.8/30

Very good student from top French university (Ecole polytechnique). None of us got in, even the best. Good LoRs, good motivation letter. No idea what happened.

Chinese applicant with a Chinese bachelor's in computer science. GRE not required & not submitted. 1-year-long research experience at an EPF Lausanne lab. 1 first-author conference pub & several non-first-author pubs. Probably decent LoRs. Also got admitted to Data Science MSc program. ESOP rejected for both programs.

BSc from Tecnológico de Monterrey, 2 LoR from Tec de Monterrey professors, mid SoP, 1 internship, 2 years as undergrad research assistant, no ESOP, no GRE. Robotics and autonomous vehicle's background.

I come from Polytechnic of Turin, currently at my third year for Mechanical Eng. Other than obtaining almost always maximum marks, I also participated to a merit-based course called "Intraprendenti", with some extra-curricular programs and activities. Normal letters of recommendation (I suppose), good motivation letter. I applied for ESOP, wrote a good Pre-proposal. Got Rejected from ESOP. I have no internship experience, nor do I have research activities other than the thesis I'm writing.

Top 2% in bachelor's program, three strong letters of recommendation, decent motivation statement, two years of work experience, strong extracurricular activities and leadership roles. Came from a top 100-150 European university. (Also got into Msc Data Science and hence the repeating statement.)

Top German CS university, CS Major Top 3% out of 300. 6 semesters. 3 big industry experience. 1 tutor experience. Distinctive Thesis. 1 Strong 2 moderate recommendations

Top 0.5% of graduating class, 250-300 QS CS Greek university, no GRE, moderate to strong LoRs
