seriously delay...won't consider it, as have had alternatives with a higher reputation.

High GPA, Honours degree, research experience, excellent references. Can't believe I waited this long for a rejection, but such is life. Will try again next year! Don't give up, and good luck to those who got in.

Submitted my application on 4.17, received all of the rec letters on 4.27. Status update on the website with a decision letter from the dean of students. I hope I get a detailed letter soon explaining the reasons. Really bumped because I thought I had a good chance of getting in. I wonder if there are not many spots left at this point - so my advice is to apply early.

Rejected off the shortlist due to funding constraints and the high number of accepted initial offers (not surprising given the nature of this cycle). Congrats to all who are admitted! The DGS wrote an incredible email telling me to apply next year so I'll have to see how the rest of this cycle goes. PhD: 0a/3w/8r, MA: 1a

Has anyone else received an admission or rejection from a master of arts in sociology?

I didn't receive an email, I just randomly checked my portal and saw my rejection. Pretty generic email — no research experience or GRE scores and a pretty mediocre GPA. Not surprised, already got into my top choice so no hard feelings
