To the poster below who got accepted into computer science, masters program, congrats. What is your profile and in you got selected into which program thesis or coursework?

Finally received the official notification on Quest - my top choice! I had interviewed with two POIs at the beginning of February.

Edit to my Vanderbilt MS CS post below-- it should say 2/27/18 not 2/2/18 for admit date

TOEFL 108 (28L 30R 24S 26W) Didn't send GRE score. Major in EE from top Indian University. 5 Recos 2 very strong personalised recos 2 great recos 1 average reco. 1 journal publication (semi related). Average GPA 8.6. Was contacted by POI 12 hours before the acceptance mail who told me about his group. This was totally unexpected!!

Congrats on the admission to the poster below. Did you contact the POIs before the interviews?

Any one still waiting for NCSU, MS in CS? Is there any chance for an admit in the future? Application was submitted on 15th Dec, completed on 18th Dec... gradwatch supplemental form was also done on 18th Dec.. Not yet received review-ready email (which most others got whose gradwatch supplemental form was submitted on or before Dec 15th)

To the poster asking a question about NCSU, I heard from a forum that NCSU sends admits every Wednesday, like 21 Feb and now 28 Feb. They will keep sending till March-end. If someone has additional knowledge or some counterargument, please share it here.

Surprised, but got into a great R1 school with a top lab in the nation for my research area so not to upset.

I check Quest at least 4 times a day, nothing changes " No decision has yet been made by the academic department.". Feeling disappointed already.

Undergrad from state university in U.S., ~3.89GPA, 1 publication, research area: Software Engineering. No Funding and No POI ever contacts with me. I am also holding other offers, probably won't go UIUC
