Computer Science Graduate School Admission Results

Has anyone received a reject for cornell's meng cs program? I'm still waiting for my outcome, not sure if there is a wait list or if I'm already rejected.

Undergrad from NUS, moderate SOP and LORs. Was emailed to check website to view the decision status.

To the poster below, I still haven't heard anything from them as well, they seem to have sent out quite a few admits in March, so I'm not too hopeful. They said all decisions should be out by April 15; so bracing for a reject now!

MS GPA 3.64. Silver medal holder. 1 2nd tier journal publication (first author). TOEFL iBT 110. Great LOR. Multiple TA experience. 1.5 year job experience. 312 GRE. Was considering it a safe school. May be got rejected for low undergrad gpa. Applied in jan, preferred deadline for graduate assistance was oct/nov. May be that was the reason. Disappointed!

Applied for PhD, accepted into MS without funding. Heartbroken! :(

Have all the MS in CS results from Umich been declared? Did anyone try contacting the admissions office?

According to everyone's responses and other data, I guess it is correct to assume that those who haven't heard until now, are on the waitlist. However, there seem to be a lot of people who haven't heard until now, so why have they kept so many people on the waitlist if only a few are likely to reject? Something doesn't add up. Maybe they are yet to hand out some normal acceptances?

I have the same feeling. The fact that so many people say they "haven't heard anything yet" suggests that it might very well be the case that significant number of acceptance decisions are yet to be rolled out. Not everyone can be equal that all of us end up on a single waitlist. Some of us are bad and some of us are good. Rejections should have been given out too, but they haven't.
