Political Science Graduate School Admission Results

Interview held a few days after notification. Should hear back by early next week at the latest. [To the below POLIS candidate: when will you be interviewed? Good luck! :) ]

In March was informed that I had been accepted, pending on confirmation by available supervisor. SV joining another uni next year, so suddenly no other SV available. Got the rejection letter a few weeks later. :(

Admission offer 15 Jan; ESRC DTC funding for EU students with top-up for full maintenance fees awarded 18 Mar. Also got admitted to KCL, Edinburgh, Durham, Kent, and waiting news from Cambridge.

Email from department, official acceptance letter from graduate school coming soon

Political Economy track

Got the survey today as well. I suspect that the poster below me is right. My money is on a wave of decisions coming out starting late next week. That said, could someone who has already heard back confirm whether (and when) they received the survey vis-a-vis getting their result? Good luck everyone!

applied for phd but accepted into the ma program with 35% tuition off. i guess what they need is money not students...will not go.

Got an email notification. While the website says that the research studentship results will be released in June, apparently my application was unsuccessful as they've already offered the one studentship for the department to someone else (they might reject it, but given that there's only one for all the PhD candidates in the department, odds of me getting it aren't great).

Spent two months on the relevant needed documents, with wide ranging experience in working as part of an embassy, alongside a detailed research proposal - yet still got rejected. Good luck to everyone else still waiting for their results!!
