Economics Graduate School Admission Results

Any news from U of F? I have e-mailed the secretary but received no reply.

I received their admission in early March but they did not give me the first-year funding, and only promise the tuition waive after passing the qualified exam.

I heard that there are still some offers with no response at this point. I am still waiting for WUSTL and this is the best I can get. So could you please decline your offers quickly if you don't want to go there or have a better one? It's time to make a decision. Don't hold off. Please help me, please...many thanks!

Rejected from wait list : "At the last minute, we got two acceptances, taking us one over our quota". Just accepted UCLA.

Secretary wrote to me that we have sent out “first round” offers and those applicants have until April 15TH to make a decision. We will notify you as soon as possible. What means this?

To the poster of UF below: Do you get the email today? I wrote to the secretary in early April and the response was same to yours. But I don't hear from them even today.

Accepted off the wait list: 25000 fellowship for 5 years. GPA is for my master and my PhD in progress at Sharif University of Technology (Iran). I am going to decline my other offers from North Carolina State with 18000 TA-ship, and so on.

Has anyone got new news from Ottawa?? I haven't heard anything yet. Is that mean I'm in the waiting list?

To the poster below: Did they give you funding? and howmuch time did you have to accept or decline your offer. I haven't recieved any email from them and I want to figure out if I am in the waiting list or not.

I have not heard anything from UC davis yet. Is there anyone who received waitlist from UCD? Or Is there anyone who is same status as me?
