Was offered the Dean's Fellowship- full tuition, 7k stipend, chance to live in Theology House with 3k more-but chose to reject the offer.

said they received over 135 applications this year

I haven't head anything, but I hope they notify soon! I had some friends apply for spring semester and they said they were notified by mail, so keep an eye on the mailbox!

This is from the person who posted the rejection. I was informed by a POI that the program did not receive a grant this year that they use to fund graduate students. Thus, instead of the usual 50% interviewee acceptance rates, it is 25% this year.

Upon asking where I stand in the wait list, I found out I'm in the "lower third," so unless everyone totally doesn't want to attend PSU this year (wink wink hint hint), I'll have to keep my hopes up for my other schools :)

Unfortunately, it is also true that the number of applications for admission to ESD's graduate programs greatly exceeds the number of students we can admit to the programs. Therefore, every year it is necessary to refuse admission to some very qualified and talented applicants. I am sorry to inform you that we are not able to offer you admission to MIT ESD for the 2014/2015 academic year.
