I sent them email and they said "An admission decision has not yet been made about your application. I can't predict how soon an applicant's materials will be reviewed or how soon a decision will be made. But, applicants will be notified by email after a decision has been made."

To the poster below: USC is good at econometrics, not macro.

USC does have a high strength in time series metrics though, and some top macro people (Quadrini, Jaimovich, etc) in the Business School that are able to serve as advisers for the Econ PhD students, which makes it appealing since both are notably strong.
