Graduate School Admission Results

"Admission to graduate programs at SMU is highly competitive. Although your application has much to recommend it, there are only limited spaces available in your area of interest. I regret to inform you that your application for admission has not been accepted."

Accepted to 3-year program, although contingent on acceptance to university.

I learnt that funding offers are not made. Once they do it, those with better offers please please decline ! Thank you. May god bless you.

Canadian w/ Canadian undergrad. Accepted with some funding, suggestion of more to come.

3-year program. Would have been cool, oh well.

Checked my application status online. I'm not sure if I'm going to accept the offer yet. Best of luck to everyone still waiting to hear back from them!

So nervous/excited!!!!!!

Emailed to ask. Reply:"We do not know whether we will be able to make additional offers, and we also don't know how many such offers might be made if we do make such offers. This will depend on the responses to our initial set of offers, and also upon the permission of our graduate dean. Most likely, we will not receive many responses to our offers during March. In April, we will contact those who have not responded, asking them to reply quickly if possible. Our hope is that we will hear back from most of them before April 15, so that we will be in a position to make additional offers at that point if appropriate." Those who have received offer from UPenn but decide not to go please decline a.s.a.p. It's really my top choice.
