No change on portal. Personal email from the chair.

Has anyone else who was admitted heard anything about funding other than the total 5-year value given in the acceptance letter?

Grad GPA. Two line boiler plate email from grad coordinator, didn't even have my name on it. No interview. Both Astro profs are retiring (my field), but W.E., it is UMaine, a MS physics degree with a 3.91, who are they looking for?

CMT. No publications. "We received over 50 applications in total, almost all from students with outstanding academic records, of which we were allowed to enter only three into the scholarship competition. Yours was not one of the three selected and we have no other source of funding for PhD students not resident in the UK."

Got in for HEP-TH. Worked as a freshman with a CERN CMS group and got published in 2020. Additionally, worked with a famous phenomonologist and published with them in 2022.

Anybody knows who to contact at JHU about my status? None of the admin staff are responding! Any idea who the director of graduate studies is?

Ignore waitlist. Have any international students who applied to Toronto heard back from them at all? I emailed them and they replied that they have started accepting or rejecting domestic applicant since Jan but will consider international applicants till mid to late March. Is this true or a soft rejection?

Waitlisted for the astronomy program. This is the only "offer" that I have so if anyone has other offers that you're more likely to accept, please decline Rutgers soon to free up a position. Thank you!

4.0 in my Masters, HEP theory...been in contact with a prof for a while, interviewed by a different prof.

I guess most of the colleges have filled their seats. They simply aren't sending rejection mails quickly unless we ask them for update. Thoughts?
