Political Science Graduate School Admission Results

Damn, checked portal. Made it to the final round. Great letters and background. Congrats to all that got accepted.

Some professors at my graduate school told me: that if you want to apply for the University of Rochester's political science Department, you would best have 90% or even full scores on the math of GRE; also you would better have many "A" in your transcript and attend quant focused courses. Sadly, my GRE's math percentile is only 70%

CP. Got a notification about portal update, so assumed rejection at first, thought my GRE scores were comparatively low, plus I don’t think I have a lot of experience, but still got in, so hope this might inspire someone (or at least make people less anxious)

Undergrad GPA (Mechanical Engineering 2.75), GPA listed is Master's in IR. Applied to the IR subfield as a joint degree with YLS. Had Letters of Rec from a former US attorney General, a yale law school alum/graduate professor and thesis supervisor, and a professor from undergrad.
