Computer Science Graduate School Admission Results

Had interviews in mid-Feb. and then comes the long wait. Get the result this morning.

Anyone heard back from University of Toronto yet? Seems like a lot of people got accepted already in March. Do I assume rejection now? Is there any hope in April and May?

TPB: You have sent a lot of messages saying that you want other people's last name. I can tell you that they've reached Z yesterday, and what you're doing is pretty annoying. But still, I hope you get good luck. I want to get in as well.

Applied for PhD but got master offer.:| this is so annoying that they made us wait until now and finally master with partial fund:| will not attend obviously.

two first author paper in IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, one first author paper in ICC workshop. two times on dean's list in undergraduate. graduate from National Taiwan University EE MS.

There goes the dream...enough with rejections already

TTPB: I am still waiting for the DICE track and I was told last week that we should receive decisions before April 15th. I am not sure about that now. Assuming its a rejection...

To the poster below, you I'm afraid you're speaking out of your rear. To the best of my knowledge, it hasn't even reached O yet.

TPB: I was mad but I don't talk shit. I know two people whose last name start with X and Z, and they received admission email last Friday.

Does UCSD send out PhD rejection??? I almost have no time to wait for it. Going crazy.

Did anyone receive acceptance or rejection from Viterbi school? Are they passing out decisions tomorrow?

Anyone heard from the ECE department, as to when will the results from the masters program will be released?

To the USC Poster Below: I also haven’t heard back from USC. But, from some post here on GC and past year's stat, it’s pretty obvious that we were not their first choice. They did send out the admits. And no, I don't think they will send out the rejections too early. Perhaps, later on this month or the next one! I assume, it’s just the norm of USC of being super late to send out the rejections. That been said, position may open iff someone accepted decline the offer. The chance of that is pretty slim, though.

Anyone else here who has received the mail informing decision but nothing has been updated on the portal yet.

so its 15th now, and still no decision. I saw a couple of rejects below, i guess its safe to assume that its reject season now. This was my dream school. :'(

Just FYI for those waiting, I received an email from a professor on April 3rd where the professor acknowledged that it was late in the application process but asked if I was still looking for a PhD. I had already accepted elsewhere, but unfortunately it looks like the faculty have already combed through their first/second/third etc. choices. Best of luck!
