Please Help!!!! Any information on the program

To the people seeking information about Lehman..I took some of my pre-req there while taking others at Hunter College. I will say that I was not impressed with Lehman. I was taking these classes with several other girls and we all felt the same. The level of education was not what I was used to since I took most of my classes at Hunter. I did not feel that the bar was high enough. Maybe that is because Lehman actually has an undergrad program in SLP. I just felt that it was a bit easier and more laid back then I personally liked. I experienced one professor who was extremely intelligent but was a terrible teacher, coming to her class was pretty pointless. I also did not feel a welcoming environment there. I met with one of the advisors in the grad dept and was completely turned off my her. I dont want to trash the school because they do have a good rep but I just personally did not like the environment and the level of education.

So unprofessional! They like second BA and don't care about young students. They are very discouraging. They are also very rude outside the interview

I talked to someone in the department. They have filled all the seats, nobody else will be admitted or offered admittance.

I would also like to know more information about the school if anyone has something to share. I see that someone posted something about the professors being mean. The two people who interviewed me seemed really nice.

Thank you for responding about your stats. Did you have all the pre-req requirements for LIU or were you missing 1 or 2. Do you know if they accept you if you are missing 1 class? Thank you in advance

I posted my acceptance earlier. My undergrad was in Psychology with a 3.2 and I did my prereqs at Queens College with a 3.8gpa. I have tons of research and related field volunteer experience, and had amazing recommendations. I am also bilingual -Spanish. I did not have an interview.

If you didn't get an interview don't stress about it. They only interview those they have questions for. I know many grad students that had friends who had interviews and they did not. They still got accepted afterwards even though they did not have one. Interviews don't guarantee anything yet so don't sweat too much about not being notified for one!

Is anyone planning to reject an admissions offer to Longwood?

Not my first choice but a little disapointed nonetheless. Applied to the program but did not know much about it as it comes to the number of accepted students. Anyone else apply to Akron?
