Yay!!!!!!!!

If anybody is not accepting the offer please reject it as soon as possible so I get a chance.. Please...!!!

To everyone waiting to hear back from SHU, They have accepted 40 students so far (thats how many they plan on enrolling).. So if you haven't heard anything from them, then you're on the "unofficial waitlist". They're waiting to hear back from those students before they accept more people. That is why they're taking so long and being so vague when we call to inquire about our application status. If you have other opportunities, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to go ahead and accept since we don't know where we are on this "waitlist" or when we should expect to hear back. Hope this helps.

Sent an email to the Admissions Coordinator asking when we should hear (it has been 10 weeks and they told us 4-6). She emailed back saying I was accepted and should get my official email soon.

Poster below... do you know any community for KAUST applicants to communicate their status or you communicate with peers in a personal bases?

To the poster asking about NYU vs NYMC.. NYU is ranked higher than NYMC. NYMC is a smaller program than NYU. At NYU you might have more flexibility in picking your classes/ schedule and you definitely won't at NYMC. You have the same schedule as everyone in the program class 2 days a week and clinical 2-3 days. I've heard at NYU there are more options for clinical placements, and you are more likely to get the one you want than at NYMC. I think NYU is a better more well rounded program than NYMC bc most of NYMCs emphasis is on medical whereas NYU focuses more equally on all clinical settings. I'd go NYU :) Best of Luck!!

Got the call pretty early this morning. Will probably be accepting, vary excited!

Applied to 5 universities and got 5 rejections. ODU, FIU, Wayne and Temple --- it is a pity.

Website had application as pending/in process for weeks. A note posted said they mailed the official rejection on April 24. This one took a long time, wondering if I was unofficially waitlisted or something.

Email to check the website. This was my safe option. A bit surprised.

When I got on the wait list they said they had wanted a decision by the 28th. So they will probably send out more after today

Rejected by two and waitlisted by another. I don't know what to say, pain in myself.

I just checked my status online and my status has changed from deferred decision to waitlisted. I did not receive any other notice.
